Privacy Policy
Short and without the legalese: what happens to the data you send us through the contact form. The site collects nothing else.
IN EFFECT FROM 25 AUGUST 2026
Who processes your data
The controller of your personal data is Ing. Mgr. Petr Moťka, registered office Hrabová 173, 789 01 Zábřeh, Czech Republic, company ID (IČO) 74762265, entered in the Czech Trade Licensing Register kept by the Municipal Authority of Zábřeh. “Revnova” is his trade name.
For anything concerning your data, reach us at hello@revnova.cz.
We have not appointed a data protection officer — under the GDPR we are not required to, because we process neither data on a large scale nor special categories of data.
What data, and what for
The contact form is the only place on this site where we take personal data from you. We process:
- your name,
- your email address,
- the text of the message you write to us.
The purpose is plain: to deal with your enquiry and agree on possible work together. We collect nothing else on the site. You are under no obligation to fill the form in — but without a name and an email address we have no way to reply.
The legal basis for it
When you approach us with an enquiry, we process the data under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — these are steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
If the enquiry leads to no work together, we keep the correspondence under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in knowing what has been asked before and picking up the thread should you get in touch again.
How the form works and who sees the data
A submitted form passes your data to Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA), which delivers the message to our hello@revnova.cz inbox. How Formspree handles the data on its side is described in its own privacy policy at formspree.io. We run no server and no database of our own — the site is static and we store the form data nowhere ourselves.
If sending fails, the site offers a fallback: it opens your own email program with the message pre-filled, and you send it yourself. In that case the data does not pass through Formspree at all.
So the only parties that see your data are:
- Formspree as the recipient that delivers the message from the form,
- the hosting provider the site runs on (the server only delivers the site's files; it does not process the message from the form),
- the provider of the hello@revnova.cz mailbox where the message arrives.
Transfer outside the EU: Formspree provides its service from infrastructure in the United States, so the data from your form is transferred to a third country outside the EU. The transfer rests on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission under Article 46(2)(c) GDPR — we will send you a copy on request. If you would still rather your data was not sent to the USA, write to hello@revnova.cz directly or call us — neither email nor phone goes through Formspree.
We pass the data to nobody else and we do not sell it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that lead to no work together: 12 months from our last exchange at the most, then we delete them.
- Completed commissions: for the duration of the work and afterwards for the statutory retention periods set by Czech accounting and tax law.
Cookies and traffic measurement
The site sets no cookies and uses no other technology that would store data in your browser or on your device. There are no advertising pixels and no tools that would follow you across websites.
To know which pages people care about, we measure traffic with Umami. It collects aggregate figures only: how many visits there were, where the visitor came from, which pages they opened, the type of device and the approximate country. None of that is stored on your device, none of it is tied to you as a person, and none of it can reveal who you are. No profiling and no automated decision-making take place.
That is exactly why the site has no cookie banner and never asks you for consent — the duty to obtain consent attaches to storing data on a device, and no such storing happens here. There is nothing to accept and nothing to refuse.
Your rights
In respect of your data you have the right to:
- access it and receive a copy,
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- erasure,
- restriction of processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest.
You can exercise any of these rights by emailing hello@revnova.cz — we reply without undue delay.
Complaint to the supervisory authority
If you believe we handle your data badly, you can turn to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7 (website uoou.gov.cz).
